Manualidades con material reciclado / Megatuto ESPECIAL ✎ Craftingeek

Hello Crafters
Welcome Craftingeek's first massive tutorial
On today's video we're going to make stuff out of recycled things that you have at home…
Plastic bottles
Cans
Toilet paper rolls
Newspaper
And other materials that we tend to throw away, but don't throw them away because we're going to reuse them today
Lets start with the ideas
Number one
A present made with bottles
Transform plastic bottles into a gift box
you'll need big plastic bottles
cut them in half
and every two lines cut out six centimeters down
paint it whatever color you want
I decorated it as fruits, choose the decoration you like the most
let it dry and add some clear lacquer that will serve as protection so that the paint wont come off
Store whatever you like inside and add a bow to close it up
This gift is finished
Number two
A clock made out of tuna cans
On a clean tuna can make a hole in the middle of about half a centimeter
I recommend you to use a nail
carefully pass it through the can and them move it to the sides to open up the hole
next flatten out the inside with a hammer, we want it to be as smooth as possible
because if it has any lumps the clock wont work
and now paint the can with the color of your preference
if it's necessary give it a few coats
and meanwhile we wait for this to dry
take out the mechanism of a clock
very carefully separate the clock hands one by one
you need to be careful if it has an alarm
and using a pencil mark on the can (once it dried) where you want 12 and 6 to be
Remember that one has to be in front of the other on a straight line
Next add tape to the clock and pass it underneath the dry can
the clock's mechanism needs to be on the center where the hands go
and add the first three clock hands
handle them carefully, make sure they fit right
add the battery and on this point the clock should be able to work perfectly fine
Everything should be able to work, every clock hand should be able to rotate
if not, if one of them didn't fit, what you need to do is make the hole bigger or flatten it up more
so go back to the previous steps
Draw on the numbers using a permanent marker, it's important to check that they're lined up correctly
and once it's able to work take it off and paste the clock to the can using silicone
but make sure you don't add silicon near the clock's mechanism because then it wont be able to rotate
To make sure this dries up better, add some weight on top of the clock
and meanwhile it dries we'll work on the decorations
For the decorations we're going to use plastic lids that we're going to cover up with fabric
paste them on the sides on the top part
and use the same fabric to decorate the side of the can once it's dry
For the clock to stand, paste two balls on the bottom part, I used cold porcelain
and add the clock hands
and that's it you finished the clock
Number three
Organizer made out of disposable plates
you'll need, two disposable rectangular plates
cut one in half
we'll work with one whole plate plus one half of a plate
cover them up with newspaper and a mixture of white glue and water
once it's dry, paint it with your favorite color and protect it with a layer of lacquer
then, paste the half of the plate onto the whole plate so that it can be like a bag
and decorate it with fabric or with whatever you want
You can use this to store pencils and pens
and you can also hold it on your cork board with tacks
Number four
Letter organizer made out of cereal carton
Open up a box of cereal and draw on the shape or letter that you want on it
cut out the letter
and also draw two rectangles that have the length of the carton rolls, on this case it's 10 cm
by the length of the box
Make sections on the rectangle of the size of every letter
these are going to make the walls of the figure
then paste them on the corresponding sides using liquid silicone
use paint spray
and let it dry
then add on the cylinders for them to work as compartments
paint it again
and you have finished up your letter organizer
Number five
Newspaper case
With the pieces of newspaper, make 36 rolls with the help of a stick
paste the remaining tip with liquid silicone
once we have all 36 rolls pasted and flattened out
start knitting it pasting the rolls, one on top and one on the bottom
once you have the knitted piece
with mixture of white glue and water, cover it up and let it dry
Meanwhile it dries, we're going to make four thick pieces of newspaper and paint them
just like the big piece, use acrylic paint
and then seal it with lacquer
once everything has dried up, paste decorating fabric using liquid silicon
and then on these sides, the two sides that we previously painted
fold the figure in half and paste both sides
reinforce it with the other thick pieces
and lastly you can add a zipper, velcro or pins on the top side to close it up
and that's it, we have finished up our newspaper case
These are all the ideas for today
I hope you guys liked them
My favorite one was this tuna can one that makes a clock
Remember to send me pictures of what you guys make
